Job Description

Venn Group's specialist legal team is seeking a skilled Commercial Contracts Specialist to join a reputable Local Authority in the West Midlands. The role is for an initial 3-month contract with the possibility of extension, offering flexibility to work from home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse caseload of Section 75 agreements, Adult Social Care (ASC) contracts, and healthcare contracts.
  • Provide commercial contracts advice, including procurement matters and some construction-related work.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and policy requirements.
  • Offer legal guidance on public procurement processes and ensure adherence to relevant regulations.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Legal Executive with a strong background in commercial contracts.
  • Proven experience in handling Section 75 agreements, healthcare, and ASC contracts, as well as procurement and commercial matters.
  • Familiarity with construction-related legal work is beneficial.
