You will be working at Plimat Ltd., one of Megagroups subsidiaries.

Plimat is a small engineering company that specializes in designing and implementing aspirating pipe systems for air sampling and detection purposes. These systems utilize pipes and a central detector to sample air for smoke, gases, or other contaminants, offering early detection and warning capabilities for potential hazards.

For years they have managed to be in control of the entire manufacturing process and are endowed with a dedicated sales department and their own distribution center.

In this role you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations in the warehouse as well as the people

Although the warehouse is not equipped with a WMS, it does get the job done. It will be your goal to keep on making continuous improvements to existing processes and workflows and coach and train the employees to keep them on track of things.

To do so you must have a strong and deep understanding of daily operations in warehouses and the challenges that you may encounter. You have knowledge of the safety regulations and standards.

We are looking for someone with a minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management who is autonomous in decision making and setting goals. You are a people manager and have a way to build trust amongst your team as well as the management. Even though you have your hands full, sometimes, on solving small issues you never lose sight of long term strategy and the business objectives.

**Your main responsibilities include**:

- Collaborate closely with the International Warehouse Manager to achieve departmental goals.
- Report directly to the International Warehouse Manager, alongside other team leads.
- Serve as the daily point of contact on the warehouse floor for other team-leads.
- Provide support and coaching to team leads as needed.
- Coordinate process improvements in the warehouse that span across teams.
- Supervise, train, and develop warehouse staff to ensure optimal performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety and security regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure correct planning of incoming goods based on pre-announcements from suppliers.
- Ensure operations is finished at every end of day.
- A bachelor’s degree, preferably in Logistics or Business Management
- 5-10 years of experience in warehouse management with a proficiency in optimizing and improving Operations Processes & Workflows
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to motivate and guide team members.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Thorough knowledge of safety regulations and procedures to uphold industry standards.
- Experience in team supervision and training to foster professional growth and development.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills to address operational challenges effectively.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
