The roleThe Finance Lead plays a critical role in driving our financial reporting, reconciliation, and data integrity initiatives. This hands-on position requires a proactive individual who is not afraid to dive deep into data, engage in ERP system implementation, and lead various workstreams to promote efficiency and accuracy in our financial processes.

Operational Excellence: This role requires a keen eye for detail and a passion for maintaining the utmost accuracy in financial data reconciliation. The Finance Lead will also be responsible for testing deployed finance configurations within our ERP systems, ensuring their effectiveness and reliability.

- Justification
The ERP project is a high profile implementation that will define the finance function and its efficiencies and cost savings going forward, it is required that a specialised member who will be proficient in the new tool is present throughout the whole project, this member is key in driving the finance element of the system implementation
- **Responsibilities**:

- Lead multiple financial workstreams, ensuring timely completion and accuracy following the divisional controllers guidance.
- Reconcile complex financial data, identifying and resolving finance related discrepancies from data migration.
- Play a pivotal role in the ERP implementation project, showcasing in-depth knowledge and hands-on skills to drive deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with a range of personnel and stakeholders, facilitating strong relationships and clear understanding of financial processes.
- Test and validate deployed finance configurations within the ERP system to ensure they meet operational requirements.
- Align and standardise financial processes among controllers from different regions.
- Challenge traditional processing methods, introducing innovative solutions and improvements that provide time and efficiency for more analytical, non-manual work.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in a finance role, with a track record of leading projects from a finance standpoint.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems and experience in ERP implementation.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to reconcile complex financial data.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to challenge conventional practices and drive process improvements.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities.
