We have an unique opportunity for a Consultant to work with us at West Hertfordshire NHS Foundation Trust on their **Consultant** in **Elderly Care specialist team**.

**Your key responsibilities will be to**:

- Maintenance of high quality patient centred care
- Shared responsibility for the day to day management of the service and participation in strategic planning
- Teaching and training within the multidisciplinary service
- Active involvement in multidisciplinary team meetings and directorate clinical governance activity
- Active participation in continuing medical education
- Broad range of experience in Elderly and general medicine. In particular:

- Experience of complex care and discharge planning
- Fully competent in broad range of medical issues in older and general medical patients

- **Speciality**: Elderly Medicine
- **Location**: Hertfordshire
- **Shift patterns**: 8:30-16:30 Mon-Fri on-going, weekends/part-time hours also available
- **Hours per week**: 20-50 hours available
- **Start date**: ASAP- no end date, this is on-going the client will accept short term contracts
- **Rates**: £100-£125
- Valid GMC
- Right to work in the UK
- Clinical attachment complete
- Minimum of 3 months paid experience in the NHS/UK

**Salary**: £100.00-£125.00 per hour
