If you are a qualified social worker with a background in statutory work with children and families within a safeguarding role, and looking for your next challenge, we’d love to hear from you.

Our role is part of a team of social workers based in Wales with responsibility for improving outcomes for children and families. It starts on 08/05/2024.

You’ll need to be experienced in delivering interventions and working directly with children and families as well as be confident to undertake assessments and provide care planning in accordance with statutory requirements and departmental policies. Report writing and record keeping are another essential element of the role.

We’ll need you to work closely with partner agencies to make sure we are providing the best support possible as well as managing your agreed caseload which will consist of children in need of protection, children requiring adoption and ‘looked after’ children.

If you feel your experience and abilities fit the above requirements, and you can demonstrate good organisational skills along with a commitment to teamwork, and have a social work qualification, DIPSW or equivalent, DBS clearance and full driving licence, we’d like to hear from you.
