**Working week**
- Monday-Friday 8.45am to 3.30pm with a 30 minute lunch break.
- Total hours per week: 31.25
- Term time only contract - 38 weeks per year

**What you will do in your working day**
- Collaborate closely with teachers to support various classroom activities, ensuring smooth implementation of lesson plans and engaging learning experiences for students.
- Play a key role in delivering the school curriculum, working alongside teachers to facilitate effective learning sessions and reinforce educational concepts.
- Provide tailored support to individual students or small groups, addressing their specific learning needs and helping them make progress academically and personally.
- Cultivate a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the classroom, promoting respect, cooperation, and a sense of belonging among all students. - Assist with administrative tasks such as preparing teaching materials, maintaining records, and organising classroom resources to facilitate efficient teaching and learning.
- Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and orderly learning environment, actively monitoring student behaviour and intervening when necessary to uphold discipline and ensure student welfare.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to assess student progress, gather feedback, and implement appropriate strategies to support students' learning and development.
- Take part in school events, extracurricular activities, and initiatives aimed at enriching the school community and fostering students' holistic growth and wellbeing.

**The training you will be getting**
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant Standard
- A bespoke programme of technical and vocational learning
- Functional Skills in Maths and English*if applicable
