**ADMINISTRATOR**

**Job Title**:Administrator Fixed Term (12 months)

**Location**:Leyland

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our client's team within Business and Finance Team as an Administrator on a 12 month fixed term contract. Our client operates across two sites in Leyland and Thornton-Cleveleys. You will be able to work from thesite closer to your home, however it may be necessary on some occasions for you to travel to the other site as required.

Reporting to the HR Advisor, the Administrator will work as part of a small team and will be responsible for providing HR administrative support within the HR business function.

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure all work activities are carried out in line with the organisations Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality Management Systems, Policy, and Procedures.
- Provide a high level of HR administrative support for all business functions.
- Escalate employee relations concerns to the HR Advisor and Business & Finance department as appropriate.
- Ensure people related business systems are updated and maintained,
- Assist with the management of Occupational Health programme and record keeping
- Provide administrative support for all stages of the recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Validation of data flow from the time and attendance system, to include report preparation.
- Assist with meeting note taking and support with the preparation of management reports,
- Assist with monitoring and reporting of HR related matters, to include but not limited to; headcount, absenteeism and other key performance indicators.
- Support in the review and updating of the company quality management system.

**Person Specification**:
**Work Experience**:

- Relevant experience in a similar administrative role (Essential)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy (Essential)
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure, able to manage own workload and prioritise effectively (Essential)
- Experience of working with confidential information, demonstrating a high level of discretion (Essential)
- Knowledge of business systems such as Time and Attendance systems, databases and HRIS (Desirable)
- Experience in the waste sector or similar processing/manufacturing sector (Desirable)

**Skills and knowledge**:

- Experience of working successfully in a multi-discipline environment (Essential)
- Excellent written and communication skills with the ability to build on relationships (Essential)
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Essential)
- Proficient in recording and transcribing meeting minutes and notes (Essential)
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills (Essential)
- Lead best practice and encourage adherence to procedures (Desirable)
- Knowledge of UK Employment Law (Desirable)
- Data Protection Knowledge (Desirable)
- Excellent problem solving skills (Desirable)

**Education & Training**:

- NVQ Level 3 Business Administration (Desirable)
- Hold or working towards CIPD Level 3 (Desirable)
