Love4Life is the primary programme delivered by TwentyTwenty and is run by a dedicated team of youth workers committed to making a difference in the lives of young people. Based in Loughborough and working across Leicestershire and Derbyshire, Love4Life specialises in supporting vulnerable girls to develop their self-esteem and form positive and empowering relationships by delivering Love4Life groups, one-to-ones and workshops in secondary schools and in the community.

As a Session Worker, you support our Love4Life groups in school and in the community. Working alongside our experienced youth workers, you will deliver games and activities that help our young people open up and explore the things that matter to them. This role is a great introduction to youth work and we are looking for someone kind, personable and creative to join our team.

With a generous hourly rate, our 0hrs contracts offer flexibility to combine with family, study or other employment. We provide regular hours during school term-term, paid training, generous annual leave pay and the opportunity for progression to permanent roles.

Initial hours available from Mar23:

- Mondays 3:00-4:00pm
- Tuesdays 3:00-4:00pm
- Wednesdays 4:00-5:00pm
- Thursdays 3:30-4:30pm
- Fridays 10:00-11:00am

We are looking for someone who can do most (but not necessarily all) of these times. Hours may change in the future but will be in a broadly similar pattern.

**Person Specification**

**Essential Criteria**
- Experience of working with young people (whether paid or voluntary)
- Approachable, open and warm with young people and their families.
- Patient but persistent in building relationships.
- Empathetic and a relatable role model for our young people.
- Can demonstrate excellent communication and listening skills.
- Confident delivering to groups.
- Self-motivated, able to think on your feet and adapt to situations.
- Eager and able to learn; willing to attend all required training.
- Driving license and access to own vehicle; OR excellent transport links for venues across the whole of Leicester city.

**Desirable Criteria**
- Experience working with diverse young people, including specific vulnerable groups.
- Relevant qualifications e.g. youth work, education, counselling, RSE.
- Knowledge of wider youth services and alternative support options for young people.
- Experience of dealing with safeguarding disclosures and managing concerns.
