Hays Social Care work is working with one of the largest Christian Charities in Belfast who strive to put an end to poverty related issues that people in our community face. They help keep families together and supported while they face tough times, offeringa safe space and invaluable support.
**Your new role**
As the programme manager you will work alongside other programme managers and facilities coordinators and will report to the Service Manager. This means that you will need to have excellent communication skills and be able to provide demonstrable experienceleading a team. This role will be vital in running the overall service of the Organisation. You will ensure effective case management, effectively manage a team of support staff, including managing performance against organisational and contractual KPIs. Youwill also be required to work within and understand budget parameters and be aware of income and debt management. You will be liaising with external agencies and internal stakeholders establishing a network of support.
**What you'll need to succeed**
You will have previous managerial experience, leading and managing a team of staff and experience working with vulnerable people. You will need to have a sound understanding of the homeless sector and be up to date on current legislation and signposting. Itis expected that you are computer literate and able to use Word, Excel, Outlook and databases. Good communication skills (both verbal and written) and strong numeracy skills are essential. You will be expected to be committed to your own personal developmentand provide insightful and creative suggestions to the development within the service. It would be desirable that you have a project management qualification, are first aid trained and knowledge of the state welfare benefits system.
