Your tasks
- Sales of all Continental Tyre Group (CTG) truck tyre products to tyre dealers; prioritising the Conti 360° Network and associate members.
- Achieve agreed sales targets and outcomes within scheduled timelines.
- Responsibility for the adherence to the pricing strategy and profitability performance targets through efficient management of price autonomy, set by CTG for the customer and channel mix of the identified region.
- Coordinate sales effort with other team members and other departments (including customer contact centre and telesales).
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships with dealers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives.
- Manage and develop the dealer base within defined territory, with special emphasis on Conti360° Network partners and associate members.
- Promote and sell all group brands (Continental, Uniroyal, Semperit, Barum, Bandvulc and ContiRe), services and solutions using solid business arguments to existing and prospective dealers.
- Maximise brand and product mix according to CTG business targets. Develop bespoke business plans by dealer and maintain an up to date dealer profile by account.
- Drive OE specifications through dealer network where applicable.
- Report, track and manage sales performance of each Conti 360° Network partner in line with agreed annual targets.
- Ensure stocking of group tyres in line with expected policy fitment.
- Continuously track and manage the service performance levels of each Conti 360° Network partner in line with company agreed KPI’s - to include policy fitment, breakdown refusals, fleet inspection capture, job sheet completion, etc., with focus on underachieving partners.
- Expand the Conti 360° Network by identifying new prospective members which fit the target profile set by the company. Thereby ensuring complete territory coverage by service partners to provide a high-level professional fleet service solution.
- Review quality of existing dealers and if required, replace/remove Conti 360° Network partners that do not comply to the required service levels and standards. Thus, ensuring a consistent high level of fleet service.
- Identify commercial training needs and facilitate thereof in cooperation with Technical Customer Services (TCS) prioritising Conti 360° Network partners.
- Analyse the territory potential, track sales and status reports.
- Monthly customer forecast to be provided for group products.
- Supply management with reporting on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Monitor and analyse the development of unit sales, price, brand mix, CMC and market share by customer, brand and product group within the sales territory.
- Provide regular updates to dealers in terms of KPIs in the form of dealer dashboards and Conti360° Network service reports.
- Undertake the upkeep and integration of customer data, in accordance with Company guidelines, CRM, tools and systems.
- Develop, plan and implement CTG marketing campaigns and initiatives to maximise opportunities in sales area.
- In conjunction with Marketing team, develop and execute dealer events, promotions, campaigns, surveys and activities in sales area.
- Communicate competitor information regarding pricing, campaigns, new product introduction, product quality and customer programmes in line with CTG guidelines on compliance.
- Keep up-to-date of CTG best practices and promotional trends.
- Continuously improve through feedback.
- Meet individual and team sales targets.
- Attend meetings, sales events and training as required.
- Report and provide feedback to management using financial statistical data.
- Maintain and expand customer database (CRM) within your assigned territory.
- Manage and maintain your own period expense, support and cost budgets.
- Ad hoc as required.

**Profile**:

- Proven successful training / education relevant to position.
- Degree in business administration.
- Sales or marketing or a related field
- Successful previous sales experience.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly effectively.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to goal.
- Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills.
- Ability to understand and analyse sales performance metrics.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Industry expertise alongside business sense.
- Analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude.
- Knowledge/experience of CRM software and Microsoft Office 365.
- A great attitude whilst have the ability to work under pressure.
- Liaise at all levels within the company.
