**People Coordinator**

Farnborough Airport Limited (FAL) is the owner and operator of the UK’s only dedicated business aviation airport. FAL handles approximately a third of London’s business aviation traffic and is the largest in the UK. FAL owns and operates both the airport and the Fixed Base Operator (FBO) facilities, making its integrated operations unique to the market. FAL operates alongside the Aviator Hampshire Hotel, a luxury hotel located on the perimeter of the airport and one of the best hotels in the area. Both companies are jointly owned by Macquarie Asset Management (MAM). MAM is one of the largest infrastructure investors in the world and has an extensive track record in airport investment and ownership. From a leadership and business perspective, FAL and the Aviator Hampshire Hotel are managed together as a Group.

**What we are looking for**:
We are looking for a proactive People Coordinator to join our team and work collaboratively across the business in a highly varied role. Reporting into the People Business Partner, the People Coordinator will be responsible for providing business administrative support, driving employee retention initiatives and leading key process throughout the employee lifecycle.

**About the role**:
Key responsibilities include:
**Provide general administrative support**:

- Support the HR & Payroll Coordinator in the accurate and timely processing of the monthly payroll and benefits administration. Be fully trained in the end-to-end payroll process and act as the payroll contact when required.
- Accurately produce and maintain employee life cycle documentation and support the wider office on request.
- Administer the company’s benefits platforms and respond to employee queries.
- Support in producing monthly reporting, including Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s), manipulation of data and providing team updates.

**Process the end-to-end recruitment process**:

- Coordinate the recruitment process in line with service level agreements.
- Review and format job specifications and vacancies to attract diverse talent.
- Publish role advertisements across cost effective platforms.
- Administer the recruitment inbox and screening of CVs.
- Organise and schedule virtual and face to face interviews.
- Coordinate, attend and host recruitment and careers fairs in the local areas.
- Run the work experience and Apprenticeship programmes, liaising with local Schools, Colleges, and training providers.

**Support the onboarding of employees**:

- Ensure all new starter paperwork is completed.
- Administer the referencing and security vetting process for all new starters.
- Liaise with the L&D Manager to ensure that all new starters are booked onto the security training and have received access to the relevant training systems.
- Support the team with the coordination of the company inductions.

**Drive employee retention**:

- Identify and benchmark retention initiatives against external organisations and use this information to make suggestions and recommendations.
- Support the People Department with creating an annual calendar of “people focussed” events and implementing initiatives that support employee retention, reward, and recognition such as monthly staff massages.
- Support the team with adhoc activities as reasonably requested.
- Adhere to Safety and Compliance standards and Environmental policies/guidelines at all times.

**About you: Skills, Qualifications and Experience**

**Essential**
- Articulate and a good communicator both written and verbal.
- Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.
- High attention to detail and ability to process data accurately.
- Patience, flexibility, and a willingness to learn and adapt to changing demands of the business with a proactive and can-do attitude.
- Excellent planning & organisation skills (meticulous and forward-thinking approach) and an ability to manage and prioritise a varied and changing workload.
- High level of confidentiality, reliability, and integrity.
- Ability to work independently and with mínimal supervision.
- Excellent numeracy and IT skills including Microsoft Applications (advanced Excel).

**Desirable**
- Previous payroll experience (preferably in ADP iHCM) and a payroll related qualification/certification (e.g. AAT or Payroll Technician Certificate).
- System implementation experience.
- Previous business/office administration experience.
