This is an exciting development role to join our Central Engineering Team, supporting the execution of its 3-year improvement strategy. It will be your responsibility to identify, coordinate and support Initiatives, projects & ways of working for the Manufacturing& Engineering teams which make things better for customers & simpler for colleagues. You will be the 'go to’ person for co-ordinating new and existing initiatives and you will ensure that every initiative's implications are fully understood, communicationis effective to all stakeholders, with execution on time & right first time. While the main focus of the role surrounds the day-to-day ways of working, equipment reliability and maintenance & repairs pillars of Engineering, this role requires key collaborationwith various business areas (Business Improvement, Capital, Sustainability, Finance, Procurement & Operations) to identify and support initiatives, which ensuring key performance data is visible, up to date and accurate.

Reporting into the Senior Manufacturing Manager for Engineering you will be responsible for:

- Collaboration with the key business functions to support the collation of data to produce weekly and monthly KPI dashboards (Engineering, Finance, Procurement, Capital etc)
- Support in equipment improvement projects, delivering reliability and service improvements
- Organisation of agreed upskilling initiatives with key external partners for productive & non-productive assets
- Supporting with equipment performance data at asset-level, driven through the Group Computerised Maintenance Management System (Holistech)
- Partnership with the People function, Resourcing team and Early Careers to ensure collaborative working between Central and Site teams.
- Working closely with our Early Careers team to support Engineering apprentices throughout their 4 year course, including planning and organisation of final year exams.
- Building relationships with Apprentice mentors at a site level
- Communication organisation - including development sessions, Engineering events and group-wide updates, ensuring the required support documentation is in place and up to date (Agenda Development, Google Slides/Doc/Sheets etc)

- An Engineering Graduate or Apprentice background
- Experience in Project Delivery, Analysing Data and preparing Reports, KPI’s & Dashboards

- Strong Stakeholder Management Skills (Influencing, Negotiating & Building Relationships)
- Good knowledge of Excel/Sheets, Word & Slides
- Be Self Motivated, Persistent and Committed to Drive Change
- The ability to understand Customers Requirements
- A keen interest to develop themselves and others
- The drive to be part of a team effort to deliver improvements
