RNIB is pleased to announce this exciting opportunity to join the ECLO team as part of the RNIB Eye Care Support Service. This is a rewarding role that will give you the opportunity to make a difference on a daily basis.

Each day, you will support people affected by sight loss, helping them to identify their needs, access information and make informed choices which enable and empower them to maintain their independence. When not providing clinic cover, you will be home based,delivering support to patients remotely across the region supporting the reach and capacity of our services. You will provide critical emotional support, information and guidance, both face to face within a hospital setting and remotely by phone. Good communicationand teamwork are vital to ensure seamless patient support.

You will provide locum cover in eye clinics for periods of planned and unplanned absence for North West Eye Care Liaison Officers (ECLO) predominantly in Merseyside and Cheshire but also may be required in Gtr. Manchester and Lancashire NHS Trust Ophthalmologysites.

**What we're looking for**:
You will need to be resilient and confident working on your own initiative and experienced in keeping impeccable records and with using IT systems - you'll be using Microsoft Office, RNIB databases and NHS record systems daily.
