This opportunity will allow you will learn on the job, and you will assist our Operations Team, Project QS and Contracts Manager in a post contract role to ensure project profitability and construction programmes are duly met on each project.

Your role will be to complete assigned work to the best of your ability, ask questions to move forward and work within proposed timescales.

Along with the rest of our team, you will help us deliver dream projects for our clients on large scale construction projects.

**Key Deliverables**
- Assist in the preparation of tender documentation
- On-site measurement of works
- Complete value engineering exercise
- Assist with the procurement of materials, plant & labour resources
- Attend internal and external project meetings where required
- Follow correct procedures and storage
- Regularly liaising with other departments, Procurement, Estimating, Design, Production and Site Teams.
- Providing support to the Operations team

**About The Role**

**Personnel Specification**

The role is offered as a placement opportunity, ideally, you will have completed your first 2 years of the BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying & Commercial Management Course (or equivalent) & have a high level of IT literacy, especially in Microsoft Packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).

**Skills/Attributes**

- Motivated team player and ability to take initiative
- Knowledge of general construction methods and ability to develop knowledge rebuilding regs and other relevant legislation
- Ability to work on own initiative

**Required Criteria**
- Completing/completed 2nd year of the BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying & Commercial Management Course
- High levels of IT skills, especially in Microsoft Packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
