Rookery Barns is an established local supplier of bespoke traditional oak framed garden buildings and garages. We offer a full design, planning and construction service to our clients across Surrey, Hampshire and West Sussex.

A rewarding and interesting opportunity for a sales oriented professional with building design capability and some construction knowledge. Join the small friendly Rookery Barns team in supplying individually designed oak framed garden buildings, garages and residential annexes to our clients across Surrey, Hampshire and West Sussex. Excellent earnings potential for the right person.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage and develop sales enquiries through to sales orders.
- Undertake pre-booked appointments at potential clients’ homes to discuss requirements, advise on design options, optimum positioning of the proposed outbuilding and note any relevant local authority planning considerations.
- Prepare building design sketches which address clients’ requirements.
- Prepare client costings and quotations based on the building design
- Follow-up quotations, address client quotation queries, maintain client contact.

**Skills and Experience**
- Sales experience, particularly with high end clients where relationship building and empathy are essential.
- Knowledge of construction and understanding of building methods, ideally timber framed buildings
- Ability to create building designs
- Knowledge of local authority planning procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel / costing software.
- Comfortable working in a small team environment
- Familiarity with Surrey, East Hampshire and West Sussex is an advantage
- Driving licence and own transport essential
- Enthusiasm and interest in traditional timber buildings

- Salary: Base salary £30,000 with commission potentially £80,000

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£80,000.00 per year
