**Welcome Host (Reception and some Retail)**

**18-36 hours per week approximately - 2 or 4 days**
- Additional hours will be available during weekends and school holidays_
- **Alternate weekends are required as they are our busiest times**_

Rain or shine, open every day 10am to 6pm (except christmas bank holidays) Walby Farm Park is a great place for visitors to learn about animals, has the largest indoor play area in Cumbria, and has a brilliant team of employees which we would love you to join.

This role is:

- strongly customer focused
- playing a key part in effectively contributing to the Welcome Team
- assisting in some aspects of retail operations
- delivering amazing customer service and care
- providing a proactive exceptionally welcoming, friendly and profitable customer service experience for visitors to the attraction.
- at all times, upholding the values of the company and the expectations and welfare of customers, staff and animals.
- ensuring that all visitors to the attraction have a fantastic experience, every time.

To be successful you will be able to demonstrate:

- excellent interpersonal skills
- strong reception, customer care and admin skills
- skills or experience of working with young people/children in practical environment
- your ability to prioritise and manage your work load
- your work experience in any similar setting (ideally)
- that you are willing and capable of learning new skills and undertaking training to completion
- working under pressure during busy times whilst still giving a brilliant customer experience
