**What you will be doing**:
**You will join the team that works well together to provide care to people with learning disabilities. Whether you have been a Healthcare Assistant or Care Worker, you will utilise your experience to support people to lead a valued and fulfilled life.

It can be quite a challenging environment at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important. But it is hugely rewarding to see people improve because of you; being able to do something today that they couldn’t do last week.

**Where you will be working**:
**Location**: West Hill, Oxted, Surrey, RH8 9JB

Ormesby House is located in Oxted in Surrey within walking distance of the town, which enjoys an excellent range of facilities and amenities. Oxted has direct train access to London and Brighton and the M25 and M23 motorways are close by.

You will be providing support and care for people with learning disabilities within an environment where there is a strong emphasis on team work.

You will work nights 4 shifts and 4 shifts off. Permanent, 35 hours full-time contract.

**What you will have**:

- Must be local or based at a reasonable commute distance and time
- The ability to show strong empathy, a caring and compassionate nature
- Willing to support the resident with the personal hygiene
- People skills, communication skills and a good sense of humour
- Willingness to deal with the challenging behaviour
- A positive & professional approach
- Reliability, flexibility, hard work and honesty
- Team working ethos aligned to our company values

**_You must live in the UK and have the Right to Work in the UK full time. _**_20-hour Student and Skilled Worker Visa's cannot be accepted. _**_No visa sponsorship._**
