Senior Early Help Keyworker Spoa

Job Introduction
Our Single Point of Access (SPOA) team is the frontline to our commitment to looking after children in East Sussex. We are looking for Senior Keyworkers who are integral to the team and will be working with colleagues in education settings who have a variety of skill sets.
The team, work in a fast-paced office in a stimulating and supportive environment. All requests require a decision and outcome within 24 hours. It is vital that in this environment, the information is collated in a timely and accurate manner. The work is always engaging and very rewarding.
The role is office based in St Marks house in Eastbourne with an opportunity to work a day a week from home. The post holders will sit within a small team of Early Help Keyworkers but will have support from Social Workers, Senior Social Workers and two Practice Managers. All senior keyworkers have the opportunity to develop a specialism in a lead area of practice.
- Your work with children and young people
- Your knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child protection
- Your experience of working in education
Brief and to the point and with some examples is the way to go
At Interview the main areas we’d like you to tell us about, as well as the above, include:
- Experience of conducting assessments of families with complex needs
- Knowledge of stages of child development
- Experience of effective data capture and analysis
Interviews will be scheduled face to face the week commencing 10th July.
