Application Support Coordinator

About The Role**Morrison Energy Services **is currently looking to recruit an **Application Support Coordinator **to work on our **SP Energy Networks **contract in **Bellshill, Scotland.**
**As the **Application Support Coordinator your Duties and** **Responsibilities will be**:
- Assist the Contract Performance Team in delivering the Mobile Application Strategy, broken down into 5 work streams BAU, Change / Deployment Management / Systems / Innovation / Governance
- Escalation points for all App’s issues
- Train the Trainers (Super Users)
- User / Device Management - Security and Compliance checks
- Oversee the full App software development lifecycle and ongoing modification of all App’s.
- Documentation and version control for all App’s
- Maintain and report key performance indicators and service level agreements.
- Provide regular reports and updates in line with business stakeholder requirements.
- Third-party, supplier relationship and stakeholder management.
- Understands business challenges and translates them into requirements/solutions for new and existing Apps.
- Ad-hoc duties appropriate for this role
**Technical Specification for the Application Support Coordinator role (Experience/Knowledge/Qualifications)**
- Highly numerate and literate
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Self-motivated team player with a flexible, yet structured approach; also, able to work on own initiative.
- A logical approach to problem-solving
- Experience of using and developing App’s & IT systems, and able to explain technical points to non-technical people.
- Commercial awareness of current technologies and IT methodologies
- Project management and/or process improvement experience
- Ability to lead, co-ordinate and matrix-manage project teams drawn from a range of functions across the business.
- Ability to demonstrate success in the production of quality documentation, which is precise and concise in content.
- Ability to design and manage an appropriate strategy for communication and information flow within the project environment.
**General Experience**
- Specific experience required for the Applications coordinator/Manager role role.
- Experience of Salesforce
- Experience in creating an App from concept to delivered to “Live” and out in the field.
- Good knowledge of IT service management processes. ITIL certification preferred.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Experience managing 3rd party suppliers.
- Knowledge of SQL and XML
- Experience of implementing business change projects.
- Experience of working with geographically dispersed teams
**Qualifications**
- Prince 2 / ITIL preferred.
- Current UK driving licence.
