**About the Role**:
This is an exciting opportunity to work in our Accommodation Team set up to review and deliver accommodation related projects to meet the needs of residents with care and support needs.

You will be responsible for the delivery of the Accommodation Strategy, you will undertake work on an ad-hoc or project basis at the request of the Accommodation Strategy Manager and work collectively with a range of partners to help with the delivery of supported living accommodation within the borough.

You will also have responsibility for managing a small team to ensure that the council and ICB resources are used to effectively commission services that make a positive impact, meet our statutory obligations and contribute to the council’s overall strategic objectives.

**About you**:
You will have significant experience of leading housing or related projects for adults with support needs, a working knowledge of housing for adults with additional needs and a good understanding of Local Authority operations.

You will have proven experience of managing and leading a team and provide a positive example to others. You will be approachable and have the ability to listen and support others to enable innovation and change.

You will need to demonstrate a pro-active and positive approach to achieving goals and be able to galvanise engagement in improvement projects. Experience of partnership working a key to this role and you will be required to demonstrate excellent communication/ negotiation skills and be able to influence people at all levels.

You will be passionate in the delivery of high-quality services, enabling people to live better lives. You will embed systems and processes enabling our services to remain effective, responsive, safe, well-led and caring.
