Due to an exciting period of growth, Page Personnel are partnered with a Higher Education organisation in their search for a permanent Senior Payroll Officer. This would be an ideal opportunity for someone who is looking for stability and progression withintheir payroll career.
**Client Details**
**Description**
The key responsibilities of the Senior Payroll Officer are to support the Payroll, Benefits and Expenses Supervisor to ensure the correct delivery of the Payroll, employee's expenses and Payroll related benefits. More specific job duties of the Senior PayrollOfficer include:
- Run the weekly payroll reports, identify potential error conditions and contribute to improvements / changes to payroll processes and procedures.
- Validate / check payroll claims and resolve issues by liaising with external stakeholders
- Complete manual data input
- Supporting the implementation of projects and systems
**Profile**
- Have experience working within Payroll
- Understand different Payroll systems
- Have the ability to manage multiple payrolls that are 1,000+ in size
- Excellent IT skillsand a good understanding of Microsoft Office
- Good communication skills
- Experience of managing and supporting staff
- Ideally from a Public Sector/ Not for Profit background (desirable)
