**Job Purpose**:
Provide competent health and safety advice and guidance to managers and others operating in a proactive manner with autonomy and responsibility for the full range of Health and Safety issues within the Council including carry out investigations, inspections and audits; and to identify and develop training in order to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of the Council’s key objectives; specifically in relation to the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement and Best Value.

This is a permanent full time post. The admin base for this post is Council Headquarters, London Road, Kilmarnock.
Normal office hours are 9am - 5pm Monday - Thursday & 9am - 4pm Friday.
Annual Salary £40,404 - £42,843
The workstyle for this post is ‘Mobile’ - 20-49% of time is office based. Able to work at home, or another location, or travel directly from home to other locations and client visits out in the field.
