Stirling Council are looking to recruit an individual to help further embed the vision of The Promise.

We are committed to reducing the number of children in Stirling who are referred to the Scottish Children’s Reporters Administration and to maximising opportunities to work with families on a voluntary basis.

One approach we are taking in doing so is to undertake some assessment around the referrals which are as a result of a child, young person or family, having contact with Police Scotland.

We are recruiting an individual who can assist us in understanding these referrals further. An individual who will support an initial assessment of these situations, and where appropriate will signpost to alternative agencies, or deliver a brief piece of focused work themselves.

This post is a part time opportunity (17.5 hours) available for an 18 month period.
