YOUR ROLE

As a Operations Management Degree Apprentice, you will be emersed into a fast-paced warehousing operation based in Barton-under-Needwood supporting a high-profile, well-known aerospace and automotive customer

This is an opportunity to gain a rounded understanding of the day to day running of an operational site, whilst rotating around roles and departments to broaden your knowledge and experience, preparing you for your future career in Logistics.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Throughout your 4-year Degree Apprenticeship you will gain knowledge, hands on experience and exposure to all areas of a warehousing operations such as goods in, stock control, change management, quality control, continuous improvement, operational excellence and eventually take on leadership responsibility for a team. All your experience on the job will play a key part in evidencing your knowledge, skills and behaviors required as part of your degree.

As this is a warehousing operation there will be a requirement to work shifts and rotate your hours as part of your movement around roles and departments, therefore you’ll need to be prepared to work a mixture of shifts (earlies/lates/nights) and where applicable some weekends.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for an individual who is driven, hungry to learn and self-motivated who can work alone or as part of a team and is ready to take on a new challenge We are also keen on bringing someone into the role who has a genuine interest and desire to work within the logistics industry.

In order to be accepted onto the apprenticeship, you must have achieved a minimum of 2 GCSE’s grade C/4 or above in Maths and English and have a minimum of 3 A Levels.
