**PT SEND Higher Level Teaching Assistant - Education**
**Reference no: N Yorkshire RQ862620**
**Pay Rate: £11.81 per hour PAYE**
**This opening assignment is for 3-4 mouths**
**Skills & Experience**:

- Minimum of 12 months recent experience in a similar role, or context and ideally within a public sector organisation.
- Demonstrable experience of working with learners with a range of Special Educational needs and Disability, aged 16 to 25.
- Well-developed knowledge of barriers to learning and how these can be best supported
- Well-developed understanding of a person-centred approach to learning
- Well-developed understanding of statutory requirements, including requirements in respect of Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP)
- Significant and recent experience of working in an educational environment, preferably person-centred planning, with experience of supporting learners with SEND
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft packages or equivalent (e.g. G Suite).
