**Salary: £12.73 (Time and a quarter for overtime, Double for bank holidays).**

**Hours: Contracted 35 hrs per week 8am - 5pm (3 on 3 off)**

**Care Home: Damfield Gardens**

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team in preparing delicious meals in a bustling restaurant kitchen environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes following recipes accurately
- Ensure food preparation meets high-quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen workspace
- Monitor and manage food stock levels
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to deliver excellent dining experiences
- Understand and comply with statutory and legal requirements such as HACCP, Health & Safety, COSHH, Food Safety etc. ensure a safe environment within the home
- Ensure sufficient food stocks are ordered and received from approved suppliers within agreed timescales to ensure sufficient food stock at all times
- Liaise with care team regarding residents nutritional plans and dietary requirements

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Cook or similar role in a restaurant setting
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
