As a care assistant, you'll be expected to be adaptable, kind-hearted, and focused on providing exceptional care. Your role may involve:

  • Providing companionship and building meaningful relationships
  • Supporting with personal care, such as showering, bathing, and toileting
  • Helping with mobility and enabling individuals to move around their homes safely
  • Overseeing medication and providing medical support
  • Assisting with household tasks, such as cleaning, cooking, and tidying
