**Environmental & Quality Advisor - Rail**

**Location**: Crewe

**Salary**: Negotiable dependant on level of experience plus package

**Summary**

Working for a successful company with over 40 years experience in both rail electrification and electrical supply industries with major blue chip companies.

Due to expansion they are seeking a suitably qualified Environmental & Quality Advisor (emphasis on the Environmental) with relevant industry experience in rail of a minimum of 3 years.

This position report to the Head of Safety & Assurance and is resident at our Head Office in Crewe. The role will assist with all aspects of Environmental and Quality.

**Minimum Qualifications/Experience:

IEMA Practitioner

Internal / External Auditor (ISO9001:2015 / ISO14001:2015).

Minimum 3 years industry experience in rail environment.

Knowledge of producing Rail Environmental & Social Responsibility Plans.

Knowledge of relevant legislation.

Ability to work alone and on own initiative.

Main Duties will include:

- **Support the management of all environmental and quality assurance systems and**

**processes including:

- **
- Principal Contractor's Licence.
- ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 14001.
- RISQS Accreditation.
- Project hand back advice to Project Management Team, as required.
- Review of relevant Company Policies, Procedures and Document Control.
- Ensure activities comply with PSP Environmental & Quality Policies, conform to contractual obligations and meet statutory Environmental & Quality Regulations - (Y01-AA-REG-0014 -Legislative Acts & Statutory Instruments Compliance
- Obligations Register).
- Attendance and participation with Client lead environmental / quality forums.
- Maintain the Company Sustainability Action Plan and implement new innovations and
- ideas on the environment, quality and sustainability.
- Chair monthly HSEQ Meetings in the absence of the Head of Safety & Assurance
- produce and circulate meeting minutes.
- Support with the Company Environmental & Quality Objectives and Targets.
- Support and review the assurance at Orion Park for assets and material
- management, environmental and quality.
- Support the Head of Safety & Assurance
