To support our growth and future order book we are now looking to recruit Panel Wirers to join our Manufacturing Business Cell in our Crewe site. Working as part of a team and reporting to the team leader you will build and wire panels for location casesand REB’s (Relocatable Equipment Buildings) for the railway.
**Panel Wirer Responsibilities**:

- Able to read and interpret Wiring Drawings
- Undertake mechanical fitting of electrical components and associated equipment
- Fit wiring and wire control panels in accordance with supplied drawings
- Check own work at predefined stages

**Panel Wirer Requirements**:

- Apprenticeship qualified or equivalent
- Previous experience in panel wiring, with ability to read and interpret wiring drawings
- Good knowledge of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering
- Basic level of Statutory Procedures
- Ability to work within a team or independently
- Self-motivated with the ability to meet set deadlines
- Basic knowledge of product range
- Previously worked in rail industry
- IRSE certified
