**Job Description**:

- Managing & maintaining clients' profiles, whilst supporting the procurement team with admin-related items (such as purchase orders, sales orders, pricing, and quality claims)
- Reviewing & updating the company's conformance and procedure policies to ensure they align with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Conducting risk assessments and audits to identify potential compliance gaps & deficiencies.
- Managing & maintaining the company’s legal requirements (such as trading licenses, permits, accreditations, ISO certification, environmental regulations, and export requirements).
- Responsible for Pern's compliance, and accreditations in the UK.
- Liaising with staff from all areas of the business to ensure correct procedures for work completion, when necessary developing and delivering training for colleagues. As well, as providing guidance and support to employees on compliance-related issues and concerns.

**Qualifications**:

- 5 to 7 years experience in the waste industry **and** in compliance roles.
- Bachelor's degree in Waste Management, Environmental Management Business Administration, or any similar certifications.
- Experience in procurement and/or supply chain management.
- Experience with compliance-related software or databases.
- Experience dealing with quality claims.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and develop/suggest solutions.
- Is available for constant business trips.
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills. Being bilingual/multilingual is a plus.
- Knowledge & experience using ERP systems, especially SAP is a plus.
