**Who We Are**

Cherwell Design & Build is Oxfordshire's leading design and build specialist delivering high-quality projects for its residential clients in Oxford and the surrounding area.

Due to our continuing expansion and a full order book, we are seeking experienced, client-focussed, general builders/multi-tradespeople who will work on the tools but who are also confident and knowledgeable enough to be in charge of a site, able to communicate effectively with clients and who must be able to drive a team to move a project forward.

**About You**
- You will be an experienced general builder/multi-tradesperson able to demonstrate an all-round knowledge of the progression of a build.
- You'll hold a relevant trade qualification NVQ 2 or 3, or City & Guilds (or time served trades experience).
- **Must** be able to read and understand working drawings/plans.
- An ability to work out quantities and volumes and order materials.
- A willingness and ability to push a team forward to get the job completed.
- A good awareness of on-site Health & Safety.
- A team player.
- You'll be someone who takes pride in their work, who wants to work to a high standard and work alongside colleagues of a similar work ethic.
- Someone who demonstrates attention to detail.
- Reliability, tidiness, punctuality and a "can do" attitude are essential.
- A trade professional who wants to work in a clean and tidy environment.
- Good organisational and communication skills.
- IT proficient to a basic level - able to operate company systems on a tablet or smartphone.
- A full, UK driving licence is essential.

**About The Role**
- Full-time, Monday to Friday with some weekend work available.
- Competitive salary, negotiable based on experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £190.00-£230.00 per day

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
