**Reporting to**: Team Leader/Operations Manager

**About the Role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Create, develop, and deliver IAG sessions and workshops to support participants, covering topics such as: CV writing, interview techniques, mock interviews, building confidence and motivation
- Provide tailored on-site support to participants to enable them to move closer to the job market
- Create materials for participants to continue their learning outside of support sessions
- Gather feedback on each support session to ensure continuous improvement
- Support with engagement days for our contracts including by placing people into appropriate courses and IAG sessions
- Provide feedback to colleagues on participant interaction and support provided and maintain up-to-date records of activities conducted
- Working with the Operations East Engagement team, develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as Job Centre Plus, local employers, Community Voluntary Service (CVS) organisations
- Contact local employers to discuss available job roles and build meaningful professional relationships suitable to participant needs
- Develop and maintain excellent knowledge of our business, our entire offer, the regional labour market, and the benefits system
- Provide excellent customer service, leading to high levels of client satisfaction

General Responsibilities:

- Maintain an awareness of and actively follow and promote Company policies, including, but not limited to, Safer Recruitment, Data Protection, Information Security, Equal Opportunities, Health and Safety, Safeguarding, and Prevent
- Undertake any training as required by Company policy and take responsibility for professional development
- Work to minimise our operational impacts on the environment
- Other duties as assigned by the Team Leader/Operations Manager
- GCSEs at grade A*-C (new grades 4-9) in English and Maths, or equivalent Level 2 qualifications
- Experience in supporting customer-focused teams
- A strong track record of establishing and maintaining productive relationships with stakeholders
- Excellent verbal communication skills, including active listening
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to deliver to groups
- Ability to build strong and meaningful relationships at all levels
- Excellent time management, prioritisation, and organisational skills
- Ability to generate enthusiasm in others
- Ability to show sensitivity and respect to all, demonstrating value for diverse views and opinions
- Ability to self-motivate to achieve KPIs and targets
- IT proficient with an ability to use Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word, and PowerPoint

Desirable experience, knowledge, and skills:

- Experience working in the further education/ employability and skills training sector
- Knowledge of local labour market, the benefits system, and welfare to work programmes
- Experience in providing one-to-one support or coaching and positively influencing other people’s professional or personal development
- Level 3 qualification in Information, Advice, or Guidance (IAG)
- Mental Health First Aid
