**ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT / PURCHASE LEDGER CLERK - LOUGHVIEW LEISURE GROUP**

Loughview Leisure Group have a new and exciting opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our finance team based at Hilton Templepatrick Hotel on a full-time permanent basis.This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing and dynamic organisation.

Reporting to Group Finance Manager, the main duties will include the following:

- Dealing with a high volume of transactions across several group companies
- Checking and coding purchase invoices and entering them on Sage in a timely and accurate manner
- Updating supplier payment requests list and preparing payments on Sage for authorisation and input to the bank
- Setting up new supplier accounts and maintaining existing ones
- Monthly reconciliation of supplier accounts to supplier statement, reviewing creditors ledger to ensure all payments are allocated and ledgers are tidy
- Data entry onto Excel - updating daily turnover reports and daily till figures
- Assisting with bank reconciliations when required
- Support the accounts team with any further duties as and when required

**Essential criteria**:

- GCSE grade A-C in English Language and Math or equivalent qualifications
- Experience of using Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- Ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload whilst maintaining a high degree of accuracy
- Available to work some Public holidays and occasional weekends on a rota basis.

**Desirable criteria**:

- 1 years experience in an Accounts Assistant role
- Experience of using Sage Accounts packages
- Ability to commute reliably (driving licence preferred)
