MYM Recruitment are delighted to be working with our new Newtownabbey client who are Irelands premier multi-metal stockholder and distributor. Due to demand they currently require a **Despatch Clerk **to join their despatch team. The role is a 9 month fixed contract for maternity cover.
**Key Skills & Competencies**:
- Processing sales orders and booking in purchase orders in a timely and accurate manner.
- Organising the paperwork for our weekly deliveries from mainland England and our Dublin office.
- Filing/Scanning of sales and purchase invoices, test certificates, despatch notes and any other correspondence as required.
- Dealing with visitors (customers and couriers) to the despatch office in a professional and courteous manner.
- Liaising with the sales office, warehouse, purchasing and finance department as required.
- Dealing with customer collections in a professional, courteous and timely manner.
- Confirming delivery and processing of directs on a weekly basis.
- Any other adhoc duties as required.
**Essential Criteria**:
- 1 years’ experience in a similar role.
- It is essential that you are a great communicator, with a positive and pro-active approach to work.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- You must be well presented, dynamic, enthusiastic, articulate, and personable and naturally you will be an effective team player.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 9 months
**Salary**: £20,000.00-£21,000.00 per year

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
