Best Health Food Shop is a long-established family owned health store, and we are now looking for a weekend (Saturdays and Sundays) part-time sales assistant to join our friendly team in Shoreham-by-Sea.

Shifts on offer are 2-3 per week, and it is highly possible that more hours will be available during the summer holidays, if desired, to cover for other staff absence. The position would suit a student (over 18s only please) or anyone wishing to work flexibly part-time with a keen interest in natural health and eco-living.

Pay rate range of £8.60-£11.44 ph according to age. Store discount available instore and the chance to work with a professional, friendly team.

**Duties**:

- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organised shop floor
- Stock shelves and merchandise products
- Assist with inventory management - orders and deliveries
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, promotions, and company policies

**Requirements**:

- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Basic maths skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Proficient computer skills would be an advantage
