Are you a passionate MIG Welder, looking for an exciting new role?

Coulter Elite Resourcing are currently looking for a MIG Welder to work with one of their well-established and very successful client with multiple sites across the country.

HD fabricator welders lay out and fabricate Mild Steel assemblies and weldments, ranging from small components to large box section work.

The company are a well-established Engineering firm who are a leader in the Food Conveying systems industry making full food cycle machinery and the steelwork it sits upon.

Principle Responsibilities for the MIG Welder:

- Reading engineering drawings
- Reading, understanding, and implementing Risk Assessments and Method Statements
- Checking dimensions and thicknesses
- MiG welding mild steel between 2mm and 20mm into a wide range of structures, producing strong, clean welds
- Reworking and/or repairing welded parts and products according to engineering specification changes
- Operating tools and machinery and welding equipment
- Cutting and grinding metal
- Cleaning tools, equipment and work areas

Person specification:

- Fabricator welder apprenticeship or equivalent
- Experience of MIG Welding
- Experience of use of lifting equipment
- Manual handling training
- Able to read engineering drawings
- Proactive approach to safety
- Use of hand tools

This is a full time permanent MIG Welder position, on a night shift basis with overtime, offering an annual hourly rate of £18.30 plus overtime plus annual company benefits to include a 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, pension scheme, discount scheme on all company products and free parking.
