**Package**:
Basic Working Hours - 40 hours per week, with significant opportunities for overtime and Saturday working if desired
- Hourly Rate: Up to £14.00 per hour DOE

**Role**:
The role will involve all aspects of welding and fabricating on heavy plant and recycling equipment to customer requirements and our world-class quality levels. Including such activities as general mechanical skills, oxy-propane cutting, hard-facing, and profiling.

We are looking to fill a number of roles, whether you have 12 months or 20 years experience in the welding/fabrication field there could be an opportunity for you. Attitude and personality are everything; ideally you should be able to work on your own initiative and from engineers’ drawings as well as working as part of a team to complete tasks to agreed specifications and deadlines. You will be highly motivated with the ability to solve problems and find bespoke solutions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings to determine fabrication requirements
- Assemble fabricated parts using various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, or stick welding
- Thread pipes and perform pipe fitting tasks as needed
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures or components according to specifications
- Rig and lift heavy materials or equipment as required
- Use plasma cutting equipment to cut metal pieces to size

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a fabricator/welder or similar role
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and stick welding
- Ability to operate press brake machines and other fabrication equipment
- Familiarity with pipe threading and pipe fitting tasks
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment
- Experience in machining tasks such as drilling, grinding, and milling
- Ability to fabricate and assemble metal structures or components according to specifications
- Capability to rig and lift heavy materials or equipment safely
- Knowledge of soldering electrical connections or components is a plus
- Skilled in using plasma cutting equipment
