The Vinery Restaurant and accompanying event spaces, part of The Rising development, will deliver a unique experience for diners visiting the historic setting of Raby Castle, Park, and Gardens.

**Job description**:
**Background**

The Vinery café restaurant is at the centre of this exceptional new development called The Rising. This new tourism destination seeks to exceed all expectations and to deliver a visitor experience which is unrivalled.

The successful applicant will be part of the Food and beverage leadership team, who are the face of this fantastic new enterprise and will be the first point of contact for most visitors to the Rising.

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, 5 over 7 days and will include weekends and bank holidays. Were looking for someone with experience in a quality food and beverage led operation, preferably at a supervisory level or above (1 year min).

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Under the direction of the F & B Manager assist continuous training and develop the team to deliver service at the highest possible standards, ensuring visitors receive unparalleled customer service, so they return time and time again.
- To assist with monitoring rotas daily in line with forecasted and actual business levels, making necessary adjustments to rotas depending on business demands. - To be fully aware of purchasing procedures within the company
- Conduct daily briefings to ensure team members have full information regarding menus, sales focus, events, and wider estate activity
- Assist in maximizing all sales and revenue generating opportunities.
- To lead and create a team environment which promotes good morale and ensures a high level of commitment and pride in the visitor attraction and wider estate.
- Working with F & B Manager monitoring of junior members of the team, meeting with them regularly and conducting PDRs.
- To comply with all statutory requirements including fire, licencing, and other local authority directives
- To assist with complying with statutory and Company requirements in relation to Health and Safety, Food Safety, Risk Assessment & COSHH, Licensing Laws, Disability, and other legislation
- To complete and record information required in the business compliance diary.
- To be fully aware of and strictly comply with cash handling, key security and other security procedures at all times.
- To assist with helping the business reduce its environmental impact
- As well as working overseeing the brilliant team of Vinery team, this role will have responsibilities for the takeaway kiosks situated around the park and will also manage the event catering within our various venues. These range from seasonal events to conferences and private parties.
- Fully engaging in the estate and all its offering

- Strong IT skills and experience of EPoS systems
- Own transportation essential due to location.
