KPI Recruiting Limited are supporting the UK’s leading independent frozen food supplier for the placement of a new **PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR. **The firm have been established since 1862 and they prides themselves on their heritage and knowledgeof the industry. Due to their consistent growth and success there is a new opportunity within the HR/ Finance function where you will be supporting with weekly and monthly payroll.
You will take on the responsibility of the full end to end payroll function which includes weekly and monthly salaries through **SAGE Payroll,** monitoring any changes and amendments as necessary and a full reporting function.
This is a very busy and demanding manufacturing unit, so it is important you are happy to work in a fast-paced environment managing payroll for circa 400 staff.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES;**
- Experience with SAGE Payroll (desirable)
- Processing of payroll on various pay frequencies (monthly and weekly)
- Process payroll changes e.g. new hires, terminations, tax codes
- Registering new employees with HMRC and keeping the business informed of their duties as employers, regarding HMRC and the Pension regulator.
- Corresponding with HMRC where necessary
- Keeping up to date with changes in legislation
- Ensuring payroll procedures are adhered to in accordance with Company audit guidelines.
- Ensuring statutory procedures & payments are maintained, reconciled accurately, timely and in line with regulations.
- Answering payroll related queries from internal and external parties.
- Providing management data to internal and external departments.
**WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED**.
- Demonstrable proven success in a payroll leadership role that focuses on process improvement initiatives.
- Good knowledge and experience of HR and payroll practices.
- Experience of working with complex and high volume teams.
- Effective communication skills to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Innovative and forward thinking about streamlining processes for ultimate efficiency.
- Ability to multitask, deal with complexity and conflicting priorities/projects at the same time.
- Able to think both strategically and tactically.
- High level of commercial awareness.
- Accomplished at working effectively across teams within a manufacturing and distribution environment
- Strong organisation and planning skills, effective time management and the ability to use efficient work methods and tools.
- Detail oriented, thorough and focused on all aspects of the job to ensure accuracy.
- Strong analytical skills.
