We’re looking for an Analytics Tagging & Infrastructure Lead reporting into the Product Operations Manager to lead the delivery of our measurement roadmap and strategy.

What's the job?:
While technical in nature, we need someone to help us win hearts and minds too - building a culture of measurement and its benefits. Will need to be a clear problem solver with vision, passion, energy, attention to detail, and an aim to learn and help us push the boundaries in becoming data driven. We are looking for that person who is comfortable straddling Technology and Business requirements, able to listen to and handle the stakeholders and then dive into the technical detail to get things done. With an expectation to have strong, well-informed opinions but will also have to be open to being convinced otherwise through thoughtful discussion and debates. You're passionate about data, and you love to tackle business challenges through analytical thinking. We are collaborative and agile, clear in communication, and we are team players.
- Support the delivery of the strategy and own the product roadmap for tagging, measurement tools and data layer requirements to support the collection of data and enablement of tools and reports to support a variety of stakeholders.
- Evolve and maintain the governance around quality of tracking, including impact of third-party tags, debug configurations and coding errors.
- Coordinate site-wide tracking projects and collaborate with various teams across the business
- Collaborate with the wider Data organization (Analytics; Data science; Data platform; Data Activation) to identify and support outstanding measurement solutions to help grow a truly data-driven retail success.
- Work with Product and Business stakeholders and insight analysts to understand business measurement requirements, translating these into comprehensive analytics tracking solutions.
- Lead the Product Ownership of Analytics tagging: Google Analytics and third-party tracking tags using Tealium IQ.
- Lead aspects of the vendor relationships with our technology and consulting partners.
- Investigate and identify any potential gaps in analytics implementation utilising data governance tooling (ObservePoint)
- Maintain technical tagging documentation and standards based on changing business needs

What we need:

- Experience in handling configuration and profile settings of the Google Analytics platform
- Experience in working with tracking pixels using consent management platforms with awareness of the implications of privacy changes
- Understanding of Javascript/HTML with the ability to build and update tracking scripts.
- Understanding of analytics data exports and integration with cloud platforms like BigQuery.
- Experience in automating management tasks via API and Python beneficial, but not essential
- Have worked collaboratively with experience leading small teams and stakeholders across departments.
- Has extensive knowledge and experience with: Digital analytics platforms, including Google Analytics (GA360; GA4), Tag Management systems, preferably Tealium IQ, JavaScripting
- Familiarity with APIs, A/B testing tools, pixel tracking, cookie consent frameworks, Mobile & App tracking
