**Multi - Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Nights)**

**Location**: Templecombe

**Shift**: Sunday - Thursday Nights.

**Salary**: £40,000 - £45,000

**Package**: 20 Days Holiday + BH (Rising with service), Life Assurance, Annual pay review, bonus scheme, EAP and more.

**Role**:

- Inspect, fault find and repair production machinery and facilities to maintain an efficient, productive, and safe site.
- Perform preventative maintenance routines and condition monitoring of production machinery and facilities as per the inspection schedules.
- Ensure efficient, effective and planned reactive maintenance at all times
- Carry out safety inspections of tools and equipment
- Anticipating machine failures and making such changes or recommendations to prevent re-occurrence, improve reliability and to minimise downtime
- Complete supporting documentation of maintenance activities
- Being proactive in identifying and carrying out potential machine upgrades to improve lifespan, efficiency, productivity or safety of the machine and communicating these to the management team for consideration

**Skills and Experience**:

- City and Guilds/NVQ3/HNC/ in electrical mechanical engineering
- Heavy industrial environment experience.
- Good mechanical and electrical skills.
- Pneumatic and Hydraulic knowledge, along with PLC, instrumentation and control experience.
- Knowledge of various mechanical drive arrangements, including simplex, duplex, chain, belt, gearboxes and transmission equipment is required.
- You must hold a valid UK driving license. A forklift and MEWP licence would be desirable
- Fabrication and maintenance experience including welding, flame cutting, plasma cutting. Handling power tools including, but not limited to, abrasive wheels, plasma cutter, mag drills and punch

**Location**: Templecombe

**Shift**: Sunday - Thursday Nights.
