We have an exciting opportunities to join our team as the Lead Midwife across maternity and women’s services in NHS Grampian. We are looking for highly motivated individual who is committed to delivering high quality person centred care to women and their families in line with our organisational values.

This successful individual will provide operational and professional leadership to their areas of responsibility. Working closely with the Midwifery/Nurse Managers, Senior Charge Midwives/Nurses and other senior clinical staff, senior managers and colleagues to support managing risk, evidencing outcomes and to build on the improvements to date with a focus on developing, sustaining best practice for services, improving and enhancing the delivery of safe, quality and effective care of women within Maternity and Women’s Services across NHS Grampian.

This is an exciting time to take up this influential role as there are several key strategic developments ongoing across the service including; The Best Start: five-year plan for maternity and neonatal care; The Moray Maternity Review recommendations; regional working; and the opening of the new Baird Family Hospital. This is also an excellent opportunity for personal development and support will be given to help you develop professionally in this role.
