We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic Healthcare Assistants who are willing to get stuck in and hit the ground running.

You’ll be someone who works well under pressure, is a great team player as well as being self-motivated and able to work independently when needed. Your communication skills will be second to none, working collaboratively with patients, relatives/carers and Colleagues to help plan a safe and seamless journey home.

This really is a unique opportunity for Healthcare Assistant who is looking to pursue a career in a hospital setting with a passion for stroke. We are a well established team dedicated to serving patients following a stroke.

**Qualifications**:
Essential criteria
- NVQ Level 3 in Healthcare or a Level 3 Senior Healthcare Support Worker Apprenticeship - or equivalent experience
- Level 1 Literacy and Numeracy (GCSE English and Maths Grade D-G)
- Care Certificate

Skills & Abilities

Essential criteria
- Good communication (written and verbal skills)
- Basic IT skills
- Good organisational skills

Knowledge, Training & Experience

Essential criteria
- Experience of working as a Care Support Worker or equivalent in a Health or Social care setting
- Experience of working within a team

Desirable criteria
- Demonstrates an interest or previous experience in supporting other health care staff and learners
- Commitment to undertaking continuous professional development (CPD)
