Barry, United Kingdom Vale of Glamorgan Council Full time

**About us**
An opportunity has risen within the Youth Offending Service as a Turnaround Support Practitioner. The Prevention Team aims to engage children and young people that are at risk of entering the Youth Criminal Justice System. We aim to work creatively and flexibly with young people and their families in order to reduce their likelihood of offending. Young people that we work with can include those who have committed Anti-Social Behaviour within the community, display challenging behaviour at home and in school along with being referred to our service by practitioners that have concerns for a young person’s actions and decisions.

We work closely with agencies within the Vale of Glamorgan, working in a strengths-based way to help draw resources to support children, young people, and their families. We also work in participation with children and young people to enable them to access additional opportunities and make informed choices regarding their behaviour.
