We are seeking a Work Package Manager for our PM Consultancy client. The role is hybrid, based between onsite in Cheltenham and working remotely.

**Security Clearance: Developed Vetting (DV)**

This role is on payroll PAYE.

**Role Profile/Responsibilities**:
The Work Package Manager oversees the preparation and delivery of the work package, ensuring the deliverables meet the requirements of projects from a technical, quality, cost and schedule perspective.
- Provide practical support to the project management team in relation to the monitoring of the project activities
- Responsible for identifying and acting upon risks, issues and opportunities that come up throughout the lifecycle of the work package
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills
- Be an excellent communicator
- Organised and able to work to deadlines and/or under pressure
- Responsible for the delivery of our contracted work to time, cost and quality
- Provide the required level of knowledge and understanding of customer objectives and requirements
- Responsible for change management of activity requirements and to the scope of the work package ensuring that any change is properly understood, challenged and impact assessed
- Have a successful track record providing work package delivery, ideally with experience in agile project management, or more traditional waterfall delivery
- Demonstrate thorough understanding of work package management techniques
- Have a comprehensive understanding of generic processes and techniques used to schedule project activities (for example, WBS, OBS, milestones, dependencies, EVM)
- Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
- Excellent planning and prioritising of work with a strong attention to detail and able to challenge data
