Apprentice Electrician

**Emtec Building Services **are a leading national contractor with a highly skilled in-house workforce of mechanical, electrical, plumbing engineers and much more.

We are deeply committed to developing the young workforce and are seeking **Apprentice Electricians** to join our team in **Dundee** where you will learn and develop the skills necessary for a successful career in the electrical trade. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and advance your knowledge in a growing industry.

**The Role**
- Working under an Electrician to learn the electrical trade through hands on experience.
- Attend college on block release to gain a Modern Apprenticeship at SCQF 7.
- Perform basic tasks such as handling tools, preparing work areas, and performing simpler electrical tasks under guidance.
- Gain experience in reading and interpreting technical documents like drawings, specifications, and schematics.
- Working with others, including electricians, construction workers, and other apprentices safely.
- This Modern Apprenticeship will take between 4 to 5 years to complete and gain an electrical gold grade card.

**What you will need**
- Nat 5 or equivalent in English, Math’s, and ideally a science
- It would be great if you have already achieved an Electrical Pre-Apprenticeship
- Motivated and eager to learn with a passion for the electrical trade.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills
