Apprentice Plumber

Emtec Building Services are a leading national contractor with a highly skilled in-house workforce of mechanical, electrical, plumbing engineers and much more.

We are deeply committed to developing the young workforce and we would love to add Apprentice Plumber to our team in Dundee where you will learn and develop the skills necessary for a successful career in the plumbing trade. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and advance your knowledge in a growing industry.

**The Role**
- Working closely with a plumber to learn the plumbing trade through hands on experience.
- Attend college on block release to gain a Modern Apprenticeship.
- Perform basic tasks such as handling tools, preparing work areas, and performing simpler plumbing tasks under guidance.
- Gain experience in reading and interpreting technical documents like drawings, specifications, and schematics.
- Working with others, including electricians, construction workers, and other apprentices safely.
- This Modern Apprenticeship will take 4 years to complete.

**What you will need**
- Nat 5 or equivalent in English, Math’s, and ideally a science
- It would be great if you have already achieved a Plumbing Pre-Apprenticeship
- Be motivated and eager to learn with a passion for the plumbing trade.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills
