**Barista and Cafe cook (sandwiches, cakes, waffles, pancakes etc)**

**Salary negotiable Dependant upon experience**

Full time/ Part Time from 20 to 30 hrs over 7 days a week

May include Saturday, Sunday.

**Location**: Sunderland City centre

Lucky Cat Boba has relocated to much larger premises. Our new cafe is a modern, vibrant and friendly venue located on High Street West in the heart of Sunderland City centre. As well as our exciting range of Bubble Teas, we also serve Speciality coffees, Hot chocolates, Ice creams, Sundaes, Bubble Waffles, Pancakes, Cookie dough, Acai bowls, Smoothies etc. We also produce a range of high quality fresh sandwiches, toasties, cakes etc. It is important to us to provide an enticing selection of vegetarian and vegan food to be enjoyed by all.

**Role**:

- The preparation and presentation of food at the required times to the correct specifications.
- Produce speciality coffees and drinks using an espresso machine.
- Assist management when required to create and plan menus.
- Assist with stock taking and receiving, checking, and storing deliveries as requested.
- To carry out stock rotation to minimise wastage.
- Ensure all relevant kitchen documents are up to date including allergen labelling, cleaning schedules, temperature checks etc.
- Comply with all Health & Safety, Food Safety and COSHH Requirements.
- To assist in organising functions / events & promotions when needed.

**Requirements**:

- Knowledge of Food Safety, Health & Safety and COSHH
- Happy to work as part of a team
- Experience working in a similar cafe environment with fresh food
- Experience with vegetarian / vegan food preferred but not essential
- Coffee Barista trained

**Salary**: From £9 per hour depending on age and experience.

**Experience**:

- Catering experience in a similar cafe required.
- Barista trained.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From £9.00 per hour

Expected hours: 21 - 28 per week
