We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join the IMPlementation and Capacity building Team (IMPaCT), which works in partnership with the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration (ARC) NW Coast and its member organisations. Members include regional universities, NHS, local authority and third sector organisations.

The postholder will take responsibility for the provision of high-quality research, implementation and evaluation and scholarly activity within the specific projects and other agreed areas of research. They will contribute to and secure external competitive grants and contracts and publish high impact, peer reviewed papers independently and in collaboration with others. The postholder will participate in the training and dissemination of research with peers, undergraduate and postgraduate students and external agencies and organisations, as well as collaborate in the ongoing supervision of postgraduate students and research assistants and will contribute to the external esteem and international recognition of the research undertaken within the thematic areas.

A PhD (or equivalent) in a health, social care, economics or statistics topic is essential to the post, as well as research skills including literature retrieval, data collection, evidence synthesis and critical appraisal.
