**The Role**:

- The role focuses on the generation of Commercial Management Information and the management and co-ordination of reporting to internal and external customers.
- Another key part of the role will be supporting the development and implementation of a commercial system following which the individual will help lead and maintain the systems and users.
- The post holder will be required to continue the build, design and development of our suite of commercial Dashboards build in Power BI and work with our commercial system, Jaggaer, to build data mart reports and analyse data. T
- he post holder will lead and respond to BEIS commercial FOI’s, PQ’s and other external correspondence received.
- As well as working with commercial professionals and other partners to ensure responses are provided within the time frames given and ensuring they comply with legislation.

**As a **Commercial Systems & MI Support Officer** **your main responsibilities would be**:

- Work with the project team to manage and report financial forecasting for the financial year and - Support the continued development and implementation of a BEIS commercial system, Jaggaer, which will improve BEIS’s ability to procure and run contracts effectively and ensure all data is centrally held.
- Lead and respond to BEIS commercial FOI’s, PQ’s and other external correspondence received. As well as working with commercial professionals and other partners to ensure responses are provided within the time frames given and ensuring they comply with legislation.
- Be confident using SharePoint, Excel, Power BI and Commercial Systems.
- Be able to analyse data, seek clarification from data owners and present findings to stakeholders where required.
- Support the delivery of the identified change projects, ensuring that they meet BEIS' needs.
- Seek out ways to improve processes and data to help deliver commercial outcomes effectively.
- Promote collaboration and sharing of the best practice methodologies across the BEIS family and Government Commercial Organisation.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in commercial, finance, legal and other Government Departments to develop our commercial Data and systems.
- Be an important member of the team. Playing an active role in supporting the team, embedding its vision and values to build an encouraging and supportive working environment for all.

**You’ll have relevant experience in**:

- Have proven experience of building reports with Power BI as well as working on commercial systems.
- Have proven experience of governance and assurance and/or data analysis.
- Demonstrate capability of delivering projects.
- Demonstrate capability to work pro activity and to take ownership and accountability of your own tasks and work.
- Demonstrate capability in managing stakeholders and establishing relationships both internal and external to your organisation.
- Demonstrate an understanding of risk, and the ability to identify, mitigate and escalate as appropriate.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.

**Other desirable criteria**:

- Working knowledge of Jaggaer (or any other Commercial / Procurement system)- Please be aware that this role can only be worked within the UK and not Overseas._
